Glazed Carrots

We don’t eat cooked carrots much around our house. When we do this is how we fix them. Enjoy!

Glazed Carrots

    • 1 pound baby carrots
    • 1/4 cup water
    • 3 tablespoons butter
    • 2 tablespoons honey
    • 1 tablespoons of brown sugar
    • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    • Parsley garnish

In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add carrots and cook for about 5-6 minutes. Drain the carrots and then add back to the pan. Add the rest of the ingredients to the pan, reserve the parsley until ready to serve. Cook until a glaze coats the carrots, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat, garnish with parsley and serve.
